Direct bolt-on replacement for the restrictive Porsche factory air box cover-lid. The Fabspeed CUP airbox cover-lid 100% guarantees and provides increased airflow and power. Made from anodized champagne gold CNC machined billet T6061 Aluminum. The gold color resembles the factory Gold Cadmium plating / yellow zinc plated OEM hardware that Porsche used in all their air-cooled cars. Its a awesome beautiful performance upgrade for all 911 3,2 liter Carrera cars worldwide.
The design of this airbox cover was inspired by factory Porsche Cup Cars. After much on-track testing done by Fabspeed’s Owner on his 993 RSR, he found that using this open filter design netted the best power results, with more flow and cool intake temps.
SOUND:
The factory Carrera airbox cover-lid is designed to muffle and reduce the induction note of the 911 Flat-Six engine and simply hold the air-filter in place. The Fabspeed billet aluminum CUP airbox coverlid immediately lets the glorious air cooled flat six induction system breathe and even emit growl into the cabin.
POWER:
With just this simple modification we saw a 7.2 horsepower increase over stock thanks to increased airflow.

I have no words to express how wonderful the entire Fabspeed Team - especially Vince Dean and his tremendous advice and guidance - have been as they have helped me achieve the maximum power, sound, and performance from my 2019 Cayman S. Vince's advice in regards to the MaxFlo Exhaust system was spot on, and the results have been amazing - an exhaust note completely unleashed (especially when in Sport Mode). Great communication. i have made the installation of the FABSPEED Sport cats and Sport headers on my 2017 Porsche 991.2 Carrera 4 cab at my Porsche Center yesterday and iam very satisfied. Still quiet when the PSE is off and very loud in sport and sport+ mode, i like so much the backfire who are this time stronger and the turbo noise who is more noticeable. Iam very happy of the sound a lot better of the original one, thanks you FABSPEED
Firstly, I want to start off by complimenting the customer service I received from Fabspeed. I worked with Gary from the beginning and he was nothing but helpful, answering all of my questions and helping me understand exactly what I wanted for my car. Once I picked out what I wanted, the ordering process was easy and the package came FAST! Install was easy and the end results were AMAZING. Simply installing their headers took my car from sounding cool to COOL!! I get so many compliments on how the car sounds and everyone is blown away to learn that I only installed headers with no tune. I could not be happier with the result, especially at a relatively low cost. THANK YOU FABSPEED!! Can't wait to work with this company again in the future.

Just got my Fabspeed Maxflo Mufflers installed on my BMW E90 M3! Could not be happier. I have a fully catless setup, and had trouble finding a suitable rear section that would bring the car to reasonable volume levels, reduce drone, and cut down on the inherent "raspiness" of the S65. This exhaust ticks all the boxes! The volume level is surprisingly tame for the car being fully catless, but certainly louder than the stock rear section. In-cabin noise or "drone" while cruising is greatly reduced compared to the muffler delete I was running previously. Exhaust is absolutely perfect for a daily driver. The "rasp" is just right as well. Sounds incredible on the downshifts. Power and low end torque, surprisingly enough, increased greatly. I keep getting compliments from people at car shows, gas stations, and even at stoplights. Fabspeed was an excellent company to deal with as well. The owner Joe Fabiani is a stand up guy, and scheduled me in super early on a Wednesday morning so I could make a business meeting later in the day. The service was fast and professional, and their tech Dustin walked me through the exhaust setup on my car, and allowed me to customize my choice of tips, and assure their placement is perfectly to my liking. I've read some distasteful reviews of Fabspeed as of late, but the majority of them are frankly not true. I am a former employee of the company, and have seen all the ins and outs of the sales team and fabrication facility. There is nothing out of the ordinary to see, and they will give any walk in customer a full tour of the facility showing off the cool equipment that they have to produce their systems. The recent slew of slander and distasteful reviews stem from one customer who tracked his car with a Fabspeed product not designed for the track, voided his warranty, and was stuck with the product. Fabspeed eventually made the situation right, but this customer has a reputation for slandering other businesses and throwing them under the bus for his own personal gain. It is painful to watch a company such as Fabspeed have to endure something like this, hence why I feel the need to address it in this review. Overall, great friendly service, awesome product, cool facility, and one AMAZING sound!
